I called my husband at his work. He apologized for not calling me yesterday, said he meant to but didn't have the time. (I hadn't expected him to, so that was really nice of him! He apologized for not doing something I had no idea he was planning on doing!) He said he's been reading more in the book and is now going to start reading it from the begining, instead of jumping all over.
I told him I had left him a message with Amanda, that I couldn't wait to see him again and then called him at work. He said he couldn't wait to see me again either and he had the tender, loving tone.
He said, "Amanda was there? What was she doing there?" I said, " I don't know, she answered your phone when I called and got me all flustered."
He said, "Oh, heh, she babysits for Mike and Karensa."
(I guessed right!!)
He said he was happy that I tracked him down and told me that his store is doing the tax free sales...so he's extremely busy.
Duh! I should have realized that instead of sitting here feeling sorry for myself!
Can you imagine how stupid I would have looked if I had called him up accusing?
And he gave me reassurance without me asking for it. So, he's perceptive to my feelings!
