What if he doesn't come back and you decorate it to the way he wants and not the way you want?

What if you decorate it the way you want, and that makes you happier, which draws him back to you?

I know that's not really going to help, just add more questions to your plate.

Maybe you could find a time, sit him down and explain that you don't want him to feel left out on the changes you are making.
