You did the right thing this weekend. I know it wasn't easy for you but you held it together abs you were there for her. She will remember this for a long time. It still bothers me that my former in-laws went off and did something when my grandmother died. They asked if they "needed" to be there. WTH??

Anway, you get my point. It would not have been good for you and your peace of mind later. And it definetly was a good thing for her that you were there.
