Back from lunch, putting off the closet. When I got to the jobsite they were very busy. I had brought lunch for both of us, but I could tell my H's actions that he was at a point where he couldn't stop what he was doing. He handed me his check and said somthing about the inspector being there, he was sorry, he hadn't known, bla bla bla. My eyes got misty before I could look away. He said are you crying? I said no. He said, I don't want you crying around here. I said, well I didn't plan on it, I thought we were going to have lunch together. I reached over and put my sunglasses on. Suddenly my old H was back. He said, can you wait around a while? I said yes. He went and got a couple more things done and came back to my truck. He got in and we ate lunch.

He wasn't able to stay long, but we did have some time to talk. He was very conisderate and agreeable. He was making eye contact again and seemed very relaxed and happy. He thanked me and told me that he loves me before I left. He also told me to be careful, which is something that he has always done...but not so much recently.

I hope it is the same man that comes home tonight.

Most of us are about as happy as we make up our minds to be.
