That sounds like fun to me. My town is so tiny livestock competitions are the exciting thing!!! Sorry but don't get that!
We celebrated S15's birthday yesterday. I made a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting as tradition. H bought one from Publix on Sunday so the kids are probably OD'ing on chocolate, but I'm helping out too!
The kids saw the C this am. Went fine I think. S15 is still sick, but D8 is feeling better I think. Taking a break off school today like everyone else so nice. I saw the C today this pm. She was all worried about me quitting the job, but when I explained the Excel/Mac skills (actually that I lack) and that I'm going to take a class and work on that also, and now really consciously looking for jobs that aren't 99% computer-related. She agrees people skills are more my strength and interest. I'm going to try to more psychology (my BS degree in that) and education fields which is where I'd be able to do that. So we'll see....I know I should be really worried about the future, but with my faith and pma lately, I'm just feeling great. Like I told the C today, this is probably the happiest I've been since D8 was born even though I'm going through a divorce! Karen
