Like H4U, when I exposed my wife's affair, she was LIVID and didn't say anything for a couple of days. I think I did finally break the ice, and yeah, we got into it. But I just rope-a-dope'd her -- she'd say she was PISSED, and I'd say "I understand. I'd be pissed too. But I did what I thought was right." Or "Everything I've done, I've done to try and save our marriage and our family."
That just pissed her off more.
Eventually, she calmed down, and -- get this (and this happened on more than one occasion) -- she was then actually NICER to me.
