When you talked to her let her know you are disappointed (instead of mad at her) and to not expect any more money until she shows some respect towards you by telling the truth.
Getting to the truth is so hard. When my D18 was young I always said I wanted her to be able to tell me the truth; that that was more important than the consequences. I always wanted her to call if/when she was in trouble....no questions asked. Of course, that was easier when she was 8 instead of 18.
Is there a way to tell your D18 that you are upset because you care about her?....worried that she might be using drugs again. Can you do a drug test next time she is home?.....heard you can pick up a drug test at the drug store (that sounds funny).
