Tomato, I have no great words of advice. I just feel for you right now. I will say a prayer for your continued strength. It would seem that your darling did not want to talk to you until she needed something from you....that stinks.
Just backtracking a bit to get caught up. Your stopping in for a "visit" was plenty of "boost" for me, you fellow stander ..you. I know you feel for me, cuz you can relate in a number of ways. ANd the selfishness angle of W's is something I am quite used to. It is pretty well embedded in her family lineage. W is fairly self-aware (though not to the extent that people have given me credit for) and has despised this trait of her mom's while all the while trying to duck and dive the inevitable pass-down of it to her. It is the work of the devil, one of the things he can ensnare people with.
