He looked like crap again today, grayish and balding. I think his exterior is now kind of closer to matching his interior (I used to think him very good-looking). I think some of it is reality, but I think I've taken the rose-colored glasses off too.

And really when you think about it, it is a relationship built on lies and deceit, so it doesn't have much of a chance anyway. Right now you are probably the bond that keeps them together but will happen when you are out of their picture... I wouldn't want to get a look at their fans!!

I've noticed the same things about my H. He has gained a ton of weight and just doesn't look good. All that lying must take its toll in some way. About you being the glue, I totally agree. As soon as you aren't there to "keep them apart" then they will get what they truly deserve. I live by the motto: Don't ask for something you really don't want or you just might get it. They both will in this case....DAFT's.

I'm so glad for your DD though. I'm glad he showed up, for whatever reason, and made her happy. I know that these things have become important to mine too. I'm also glad she beat them at Sorry, too. Its a small victory, but a victory none the less.
