I know Woog, I know. Me too, sometimes. It didn't suck the whole 20 years. Once in a while, I'll remember a time when there was something good, happy. Everything happens for a reason. There's lessons all around us. It's okay to miss your friend. In fact, it might even be healthy. Have a good day. Sending hugs your way. Peace.

Even though the kids (in my case kid) are with us, we still get lonely once in a while. I often wonder if "they" miss us as well? Who do they share that with?
Woog, I get you. I miss my friend too. It is weird that my H is still with me, in the same house and sometimes in the same bed, but yet he is so, so far away. How can people who were as close as two people can be wind up so very far apart?
I feel for you today, brother. Can you learn to make banana pancakes yourself? I know it's not the same though....Hugs to you.
I can feel your loneliness here Woog. I too am all alone today cleaning house - it is just a few squirrels and jays to keep me entertained - I miss my cats. I should have a rare kidless hot date tonight.
Banana pancakes are wonderful - I found some great mix of various flavors in Hawaii. There are many other delicious things you can add to pancakes. Korean green tea pancakes are awesome. I like to liven things up with food coloring for the kids pancakes and eggs. With a little bit of red, you can make scrambled eggs look almost like succulent salmon.
