Amy..glad you stopped by..yeah the game was lots of fun! I never did get to have the coffee with my friend or make it to church today, ended up doing stuff around the house and then I was going to go later and now I'm here cleaning (well taking a break and typing) and then I'll probably just end up going home cause I'm not really dressed for it :P
I do love that we will all be motorcycle mamas and papas by the time this is said and done I just checked out my local harley place and HECK YEAH they do have a course and it's not much more than the community college course will be..ooh..do I sign up for the December class?? HMMMMM..I dunno...but I'm tempted I'll let you all know what I decide..hub would probably fall over if he found out..but I dunno if I'll tell him or not! It would be cool and they say that once you get the pass from that you may not have to do your motorcycle test for your license..depending..which is also cool

OK..so here is my sad story for today and proof that I am a super girly girl (in this case anyway):
I go to the store to buy some new curtains and a curtain rod for my bedroom, we just have a whatever hanging up there, no curtain rod, and I am wanting to pretty up my room, whatever, due to this sitch (I've been cleaning like crazy and so I'm going with it LOL). So anyway, when I get the curtain rod it says you need a drill, no prob, hub is super maintenancey so we have a drill..I get home, I can't find the drill..argh..so I'm tweaked, I"m like..where the heck is the drill? So I have to call hub and I'm like, where is the drill..he actually was nice (probably nicer than I sounded cause I was irritated about not finding it) and showed me where it was, where the battery was on the charger, etc. So I was like, cool, thanks.
Go up to my room with the drill and my stepladder and get to where I'm going to drill the nail in. Ok..and it won't go in..I dunno why, I dunno what the heck I"m doing wrong, but it just won't work. (by the way, I know this sounds lame, but that drill was HEAVY as crap..it's a Porter Cable large drill that I"m trying to lug above my shoulders steady while trying to drill into this stupid hole that won't go anywhere. Sigh..so anyway, I try for a bit and then..I am like, why can't I do this? Now, I'm going to have to call hub again and ask him what I"m doing wrong and (here's the girly part that even while I was doing it thought was sad and funny at the same time) I just start to CRY...HARD..I was like "I don't have anyone to ask to help me do this other than hub, and I need to be able to do this crap without him, and he has done this for 21 years and now I"m suppose to just know (geez I'm about to cry again just thinking about it)..and just CRIED and CRIED..I was like "this is ridiculous crying about this" LOL..
so I finally composed myself and called hub and I was like "I didn't start this project for you to have to help me and I'm sorry, but I have no idea what I"m doing wrong" and he tried to help me over the phone, but he said "just wait until I get home and I'll do it" and I was like "NO..I need you to show me HOW to do it so I'll be able to do it myself when I need to"..so anyway..
