Doc, H4U, haven't heard from you guys in a while. Much appreciated.

I'm planning on getting down there. A lot also has to do with logistics.

S14 not wanting to miss school, D11 not wanting to miss school. The six puppies and the two dogs...I still have to go feed the turtle S14 has at the apartment. Not a whole lot of people that I can ask to take care of the dogs. I'll ask my sister to come stay at my house until Sunday, I think. The drama that is going on down there. I can picture my wife making a scene at some point. She has a tendency to completely break down emotionally. I hate the kids witnessing it.

I agree that we SHOULD be there as a family, no matter how much trouble the family is in.

I know that S14 would want to go with us, and if I do go today, I'll probably stay until Monday, the day of the funeral. I'll have to talk with him today about missing only Monday.
