n, I'm glad your dogs are there for you. They are such good companions. Don't work too hard in the next few days. Do take some time to mingle w/the people who are there. New friends are always a welcome distraction.
The China move is quite interesting. Most of them do escape to hideaways and actually move out of the area to start fresh. I can't help but wonder if this is what he's done.....new place, new wife, new job and hey, maybe he thinks it will make him happy! He's still running, but he won't be there for very long. It's a whole different world over there and it's nice to visit, but their way of life is so different from what he's been use to.
As for the MIL, maybe she was calling to tell you that he had moved? Well....just sit back and let the phone ring. She'll come to her senses soon enough and leave you a message.
