Lovely- you always make me smile when you post. I was actually thinking of rubbing CEOs neck this week- he said it was stiff twice, but I didn't do it in the end. It seemed a bit forward! Although I did do it once before (years ago) for a guy I wasn't interested in, so I guess I wasn't bothered then! I'll give it a go if the opportunity arises in the future.
Ali- I'll mention something about CEO's Mum and the divorce thing this week, if I can get it into the conversation. The thing is that you have to be in the right setting to mention that kind of thing don't you? Everything's been really work-focussed the past couple of weeks and there hasn't been any real conversation. I've tried to initiate a little banter but he hasn't bitten. So we'll see what happens if I can ever get to a non-work conversation again.
It's been 3 weeks since I sent H my short e-mail, nearly 4 weeks since he sent me his one-line e-mail, but about 6 weeks since we actually had any interaction that was longer than 15 words. In fact in the last 8 weeks we've spoken for about an hour altogether, so it's an extended priod of NC. I'm not going to contact him- he can come to me when he's ready. I don't think there's anything to gain by me initiating, and in any case it's his turn. He knows where I am.
