I am no expert (otherwise I would not be here) But the "Husband" in me is also is like what you said. I would want to be there. YES the girls are a priority........But it would be nice if someway you can "be there" for your wife also.... Kind of in the shadows sort a speak.....Where SHE comes to YOU for support...You can't read minds I know and you are always damned if you do and damned if you don't. But I can see her saying in the future "you were not there when I needed you" So It may take a little gas money but I would be there when you can without sacrificing your D's time if you know what I mean. IF YOU are still interested in your wife (deep down inside) this may be an eye opener to who she really can depend on. To rap this up what I am saying is be there with your hand out to help if she needs it as opposed to holding her hand.....If she takes it great if not you have lost nothing....
