I read that while sitting at a red light. I think the folks in the next vehicle were wondering who the laughing idiot was in my vehicle.

I have generally been able to avoid the pit. I think I still can. Just have to hang on for the ride right now.

I read the book many years ago and it still struck with me. The movie was ok, as usual not as good as the book.

It is good to be the laughing idiot that people stare at. Much better then and angry and sad LIS that is self-concious and worried about the future. Hang in there.
