Has it been 20 already? Wow time flies even when it isn't all fun. I am so surprised that the boys are so interested in the election. That is a good thing I think. I just realized S16 will be able to vote in our next election. Cool. I want to take him with me when I vote just so he can see what it looks like but it is going to be crazy after I get off work. Oh well we will see.

Catch you all later, have an awesome day.

I'm first....yay me! Bring on the drinks! I'll have whatever you're makin' darling Kat.

Wow, my niece is 17 and it just struck me the other day that she too will be able to vote soon and its amazing how quickly the time goes. Taking him to vote will be a good mother/son moment.

You're a great mom and a classy lady. Have a great day.

Thanks, I am trying. As for drinks, I don't usually drink alcohol but since it is all virtual, how about a long beach? My friend always gets a friendly buzz from that. ;\)

I am sure the day will get more fun as the day progresses. I'll be watching election returns. Who ever thought that was fun? or am I just getting old?

We aren't right now, but that doesn't mean we won't be later. It has rained a bit but that is all. Stay safe.

Thanks Corey. I like to play it safe in storms. OK I have another question for anyone wanting to drop by. Ex has been out of the house for almost 2 years, the divorce has been final for 3 mths. As you know he has screwed up the bills and am pretty sure he isn't planning on helping me but I am hoping he will at least be paying me all that he owes me. Anyway, he has tons of his stuff here. My L said he should have whatever he wants out of the house in 30 days and mentioned that all ex wanted was his baseball cards.

Well silly boy has a box of comics like 30 years old. I don't know if they are worth anything and he didn't keep them protected but maybe they are worth something. As you could guess, I am wondering if I could sell some of them to pay towards our debt. Any thoughts?

Sounds reasonable. Have you talked to your XH to see if that's all he wants. Then you could give him the option of picking them up in the next month or you could offer to get rid of them? Anything he doesn't pick up in the month, seems fair game to sell definitely. Ebay or a local comic book shop or something? Karen

Stay true to your sweet self. Ask H if he wants them. It's the right thing to do. I know that is not helping the finances, though, if he does.

So today is the day I go to the credit counselors to see if I can save myself from going down the drain with ex. It almost feels like a court date all over again. Hopefully they will have some options for me.

When I get home I think I will apply for a few jobs on line and clean the house some. Maybe I will come across some money that I have squirreled away. I tend to do that and then it is just a nice surprise.
