Hi RMG.... I am enjoying the dialogue.

Today is another day to live just for today. My head is wanting to meander here, there, and everywhere.... so my approach is to pick what I will allow and not allow... and keep is simple.

Is this not an outworking of the scripture we talked about when Jesus said "take not thought for tomorrow for today has enough worries of its own".... and the other scripture where it talks about takin captive every thought and bringing it into obedience?

I for one must constantly guard myself from living in my head and allowing my thoughts to go where they may. Thoughts are like children, we cannot let them wander off alone. They could get into trouble.

This is what I am talking about about how AA teaches the Bible in a practical way. This is what helps me on a daily basis.

So... here are my JFT's...

Just for today, I will focus on today and leave tomorrow where it belongs.... in the past.

Just for today, I will trust tomorrow to God.

Just for today, I will pour my energies enthusiastically into the priorities scheduled for today.

So off we go!

Ciao.
