Hi Bbj, I know, Mr. Obama is your new President. What a great symbolic change!!! An Afroamerican, with his background becoming your President!!! I am sure some of you dont see it, but that is exactly what the American dream is all about, at least in the eyes of the neutral outsiders, something you had no relation to the last few years (again to us neutral outsiders). I was excited this morning about it when I heard on the radio he had won. And I want to watch his speech (you have to admit, he has a great voice). Suddenly I like US more... Enough with "politics", remember, I am just a neutral, "know-nothing" Greek...
I called axH and told him it was a nice surprise to come visit me with the kids. Mainly because my friends at work said I acted foolishly when he was here, meaning cold and distant... He said, "oh, ok..." and we left it at that.
When they were here I said something about a bet I have with my son where I buy him a dog if he wins (not likely at all). So, axH said ok but "we" wont have it in the house. My son just smiled and looked at us. We didnt say anything... K
