Sweet lady, I sense a lot of buried frustration in your posts. You seem almost too resigned to your H's lack of contact or movement in your sitch. I'm going to pose the question one more time just to play devil's advocate - How much longer are you willing to wait in limbo for him to man up?

Michelle- you're exactly right- there's so much other stuff to think about (and stress about) I don't really have brain space for H at the moment. That sounds sad to say, but there it is.

Mishka, Ali- I'm not going to discuss D with H for now. There are other reasons why I don't want to bring it up for now, related to things I'm not posting. Suffice to say that it will have to wait until the new year at least. I don't know the answer to the question about how long to wait. I don't know what it would take for me to decide to get a D. I guess that once things are more settled on every single other front of my life it'll be easier to make a decision objectively. Until then I won't know if I'm reacting to the stress of everything else. Besides which there's not too much hurry- it's not as though I'm in a massive rush to get married again.

You make perfect sense and I don't personally think there is any rush to D. You know what timing is right for you. You'll feel the need to push forward with something in your sitch at some point. I hope everything else in your life starts to settle down soon so you will have some breathing room and time for yourself.
