SirPrize, Glad you are enjoying the beauties of nature too. Whereabouts do you live? (Not Florida, obviously!) I like to make it a point to be grateful for both very temporary (e.g. sunset) and more long-term things. I am sorry to hear that your sister was somewhat less than helpful, but I hope you worked things out with her to your satisfaction.
So, today's gratitude list for me is thus:
I am grateful for: -- The weird and wonderful experience that is National Novel Writing Month -- The availability of a wide variety of fabulous foods -- Finally finishing some work that has been hanging over my head! (even if it is very late and the client is not happy about that...at least it's done now) -- The fun of answering the door and seeing all the little munchkins on Halloween! -- A decent house that shelters me from cold, heat, voracious insects, rain, snow.... -- Lessons learned from unexpected sources
