Yes! I met Michelle! I have to admit I was pretty nervous about it, but it was pretty much like meeting an old friend after about 30 seconds!
I am now more convinced than ever that her H is a ninny! She is even prettier than her pictures, and every bit as smart, funny, friendly, and easy to get along with as you would imagine from "meeting" her here. We spent 2 hours in the restaurant talking, and it could have easily been longer if both of us didn't have places to be!
I got home a bit later than I wanted to, W got home from work about 15 minutes before I got here. She called, and "suggested" that I should have been there earlier, as S14 had homework he needed help with. Really, I had looked at the assignment, and I know he could do it himself, but he let it turn into a big deal on him. So, I helped him finish it up, which did take a little while. But he showed it to W before he went to bed, and she was pleased.
When she called me before I got home she asked if I had talked to the boys two hours earlier, and told them I was coming home. I told her that I had told them I was going to eat before I came home. She didn't ask any more questions, and I didn't give any more answers. If push came to shove, I think I would have told her what I was doing, and who I was with. I though of telling a "story", or just saying "I had dinner with a friend", but I really think that sounds more suspicious that the truth. While a little mystery might be a good thing, I'm not sure suspicion is. But, at least for now, I didn't have to say anything. She must be wondering though.
