Well the surgery is over and my father did fine. It ended up being a quadruple bypass. He was in surgery for 8 hours but he has made it. The prayers and positive thoughts worked! I want to thank you all. Now comes the recovery part!
Now maybe I can get some sleep tonight! I feel so much better since it is over and I know my father does too!
My mother and sister are supposed to see him soon. The doctor said that he did fine. And yes it is a relief since it was such a surprise in the first place.

Thank goodness it is over. Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. Yes, the healing is beginning. My mother is exhausted but is hanging in there. She wants to get a nurse for my dad but he won't hear of it. Maybe after a little while he will that way it will give my mom a break!
