I just remember something the DB coach told me on one of my phone conferences. I had the same idea about buying tickets on the dinner curse. I told you about this a week or so ago. I thought I would tell my W that I had won two tickets for a dinner curse. The coach told me that it was NOT a good idea to lie to her about how I got the tickets. In stead I should say that I had two tickets and nothing else, unless she directly asked about how I acquired the tickets and then tell her the truth. The coach's reason for this was that if she should find out how I actually got the tickets and catch me in a lie it would create more mistrust. This mistrust would not help my cause.
This maybe because of the details within my sitch, but you may wish to consider this in your planning of how to invite your H out with you and two others. It is just a thought that you may wish to consider.
