She's searching for way out #2

W came home right at Midnight. then she got in the bed with me. a few minutes later, her cell phone rang and she picked up her pillow and a spare blanket, said "sorry,honey, about waking you up." then she went out to the couch. Whew!! At that point I could sleep well. I'm at the point where I'd rather sleep alone.

After I got the kids ready and off to school this morning; I had to wake her up to sign a release form for the bank so the real estate agent could talk with them directly. I asked her where she was taking the kids for trick or treat; she told me her Dad's 'hood. She asked "Aren't you going with us?"

I thought for a minute and said "Sure." Now this will be interesting. this will probably be the most time that we have spent together since watch Fireproof. Not only that, but we'll be at my FILs, together as a family. Not sure what to expect; but not worried about it. More like curious.

Good luck with the Halloween events!!! I'll be anxious to here about them!! It will be good for the kids (IMO) for everyone to be there together.

Not sure what to expect;

expect nothing. Tom, have you read much on detachment?? I would advise read all you can on the subject..it will serve you well over the course of this ride your on.

M, do you think that I'm not detached enough? Do you think I shouldn't go trick or treating with the whole family?

I'm not really expecting anything to happen relationship wise, just more curious than anything. I'll take an opportunity for us to be as a family when I can get it. I think it's good for her to experience it.

But as far as detachment, I don't care if she comes or goes. I don't ask her what she's doing, nor do I want to know. I'm dark with her when we're not together unless it's kid/financial related. Plus, I find that I'm happier when she's not around. In your opinion, is there something else about detachment I'm not getting?

Tom, I think you have detached, thats just me personally, but maybe i am confused, I mean I do live with a WAH who has OW, so I am obviously crazy hehehehe!
