I went into my office and there on my desk was a card that said 'For Frank' on it. It was from W. It was a Tinkerbell cover saying "Seek Every Dream, And wish on a star". Inside it said "Believe in the magic of all that you are... Happy Birthday".
It played the Peter Pan "you can fly!" song when you open it.

Frank you asked me about the card she left. I think it was sincere.
A way a woman who never knew how to encourage you before found to wish you a happy birthday and perhaps do so now to the best of her ability.
Agree with amyC frank. She is empty now. I think it was chicken$hit to not sign her name. Geez...even MY STBXW signs something.

I'm up early because I'm doing some work with a company in Amsterdam and it's 3 pm there now.
W is here for the usual morning routine with the girls.
She is doing some of her laundry and the laundry room is near my office. She came over to my office and poked her head in and said a pleasant 'good morning'. That hasn't happened in a long time.
