your comment on minister remarrying your ex. Funny... one of my best friends is a minister. He MC'd my first wedding and then married me and my current W. He joked that in today's environment, being a wedding minister for hire can rely on repeat clientelle.
He tried to help save my first marriage. Then helped me accept and recover from the loss. He was all too happy to do the ceremony for my new wedding even though he had wanted plan A to work. It was beyond our control that my x left.
I dont think he would have done it if I had been the Walk-away. i repsect him for that because he takes his profession seriously.
Amazing how your kids were asked to participate. Mine too in my x's wedding. They are so caught in the unresolved bs btween my X and I. Divorce hurts mroe than just the left behind spouse eh?
Anyway... today is a better day. Re-focused my perspective on "Just for Today, I will not let my x rent space in my head. Just for today, I will believe that my Rs with my kids will come around. Just for today, I will not participate willingly in negative thinking".
Sometimes that is what it takes for me. But it seems to work.
