Basically had a nice time and chat with my friend. We are talking about maybe doing this every couple of weeks to get me out of the house.
Mentioned to ex that I had talked to a lawyer today. told him that either he could work with me to get these bills paid and keep them as such or I would file a petiton of contempt that could end up with him serving jail time. He said I only have so much money, I guess I will do what I have to. So alien is ready to tell a judge I just don't have it and possibly go to jail.

Wow!!! I can't believe that. Is that really the best plan he can come up with? I can't believe he would face jail rather than try to come up with a real solution. Why would someone even think that way I wonder???? Karen

Because facing reality would mean facing what an a$$hole he truly has become and that is not something that WAWs are able to do. It ruins their whole "I'm ok, you're ok, BS." Sorry I'm not much help here on this one. I'm having similar issues with mine and I'm just not able to stomach anymore of the "boo hoo, my life is so tough, pity me" crap from anyone anymore.

Then of course he threw out that I have until the end of November to get his name off the house. Well sorry but no one is going to refinance it with me only making 30,000. The mortgage is ca 98,000.

Is it possible to do and interspousal transfer? Its what we did. His name is still on the loan, but the actual house would be solely in your name. I don't know if that would help though. Does he want you to assume the whole loan?
Maybe you could get him a helmet, sounds like he needs one. Maybe we can start a new line to go along with the T-shirts we were gonna print.

I think that would be his goal to get him off the house all together so that he could get a loan to take of the bills. But if he has no money how is he going to pay for the loan. Did we also mention that he is mad that he didn't get any of his $5000 retainer back from him L because I wanted to save our marriage and didn't divorce him lickety split. no one told him to hire such an expensive L did they?

Personal Responsibility is a beautiful thing isn't it? Wouldn't it be nice in 5 years or so give them the address here and have them read our posts, just so they could see what we have/go through all to try and save a R with their sorry a$$es? I think it would be a way for them to really get some perspective on what its like on our side. Sorry to HJ...let your L handle it.
