You don't know me, but I am Jeff's OW in England. I find him to be charming, helpful, friendly and a bit naughty, especially when socks are mentioned. And he gives the best hugs.
I really think you're missing out on a great guy, and I want to say that I don't really understand what would need to change for you to want to work on the M. I know you think that this is all Jeff's fault, but honestly, it takes two to tango and you do seem awfully distracted by quilting and complaining about the sink a lot of the time. Also, when flowers appear, appreciate them. it's a universal rule of womanhood.
Anyway, I would recommend that seeing as you seem to have an opinion about everything, you do something about your M. Maybe next time you're quilting you could put it down and go over to the Handsome man and give him a big hug and a kiss? Try it- you might even find you enjoy it. Hugs are good! If you don't do something, maybe I'll come over there and steal him away from you and we'll go sailing to Bora Bora on The Sunshine, with Sunshine and numerous other women who are in the Handsome Jeff-meister fan club. And maybe a big shock like that will provoke a bit of change.
