Dr Love, Come up with big goals for your exercise plan. Last year I ran (finished) a marathon, I am not built to be a long distance runner but it was on a goal sheet I had. I still can't believe I did it. Find a race in town and commit to running it. Tell all your friend/family you are doing it. More accountablity and motivation. I had "friends" tell me there was no way I could do a marathon so that just kept me focused on the training and keep moving during the race.
Start thinking and acting like I am in training for this event, makes you think like a athlete.
I like mixing up the cardio and the lifting works better for me.
Cheers
ps I could hardly run a mile when I started training for the marathon. I trained for 8 months to get ready. Lot of early morning runs to beat the heat.

DrLove, Going after work to lift. My hamstrings are killing me from working in the gardens. I guess I was bending over, stooping and squatting too much. It's a good sore.
Cheers

Cause your building those big bad muscles!

I have been doing good but have only lost another pound so far.
Maybe it will just fall off in the next few days. ;\)

Need to find a little more time to workout. Can't walk today as it is storming(snow) WTF!!!! It's only Oct.

Taking a mental health break today from work as it has been so busy.

I need a pedicure. And a beer. And chocolate. And a broadband signal at home. I need to check my fb account.
I'm reading The Last Lecture. Well, not really. I saw it at the bookstore, and a friend recommended it. So, I borrowed it from another friend, and it's sitting on my nightstand. I'm planning to start reading it. Someday. First I need a pedicure. And tomorrow is yoga night. Peace.

Goldey, You sound like a different person. Who are you friends with on FB? You can view "The Last Lecture" on-line as well. The book has some more stories than the actual lecture.
Cheers
ps I'll buy the first round.

I skipped the run last night, got a hitch in my back from coaching. So I went on a two mile walk with the dog. Will try to run and lift this afternoon.
