I know how you feel. Sorry about the lay off's. I wonder sometimes who is worst off.. the people getting laid off or the ones left behind.
3 years ago I was "moved" to a new department. I mean my boss just told me and a co worker that starting monday we would be working somewhere else. Then about 3 months after that EVERYONE. (about 15 peole) were laid off in that department except for me. Everyone was so pissed at ME. I had no choice, I did not have any say in anything.
Things are a little slow where I work now but we still have "Temp" employees. They are our safety net. They will go first.
My sitch also sucked becasue my w worked for the same company and she got laid off. That may have lead to some resentment. I don't know but she kept talking bad about the company and I had to remind her that I still work there and the company is still putting food on our table. I'll tell ya it sucked being at work at that time and then when I got home I had to hear it all over again..
