The wife called about a half hour ago. She asked how Juli was. She keeps breaking up so I keep asking "What?"

Stupid Cricket Cheater phones.

I let her know the girls are fine. She asks about Juli's hand and I tell her she's okay. Just a little sore still. I also tell her that they are crashed out. She says that they must be really tired if they are both asleep. I tell her what we did today with the rooms. I tell her that we just kind of stuffed everything in Miguels room for right now and that I'm gonna work on his room this week.
"Yeah, I still need to go by and pick up the rest of that stuff."



I let her know that he decided to leave the futon here and that he suggested that we can take nephews old bed to the apartment.
"But I didn't think you wanted that old bed." I tell her.
"No. I don't think I want that bed."
"I'll just take it and donate it."
"I can take it and donate it."



She starts to remind me where we got the bed from. One of her uncles. I tell her that I thought we got it from her old boss.
"Didn't he offer us a bed once?"
"Yes, he did but he never gave it to us. Remember?"
"Oh yeah."
"Well, I'm on my way downtown to that walk. I really don't want to go."
I don't say anything.
"Just have the girls call me when they get up."
"okay. bye."
"Bye" she says.

What is with the conversation? Wasn't she supposed to call and ask for the girls only? Why is she talking to me? All she had to say when I told her they were asleep was ask me to have them call her.
