I've been having lots of dreams about my xH lately too.
In some ways it's nice -- b/c it is almost like a visit with him. But also sad b/c they are so fleeting. And they evoke so many memories.
I feel as if God is trying to relay a message through the dreams -- but I'm not sure what message. They are active dreams where we are connected in some joint activity. The only thread of consistency in all the dreams is that we're comfortable with each other -- and seem to be a part of each others lives to a degree.
Messages abound in our lives if we pay attention. But dreams are very difficult to interpret. But, I do think God is using your dreams to communicate or unmask something for you.
Thanks for sharing your dreams about your xH. Maybe God is saying something to you through the dreams. I am convinced that one cannot intentionally will himself/herself to dream a certain way.
It's nice that you and your xH feel comfortable with each other in your dreams. Ask God what message, if any, He' giving you through the dreams.
2 nights ago, I dreamt again about my parents-in-law. I think we were playing a game or something, and I know my H was there too. I think we all felt comfortable, as if everything was back to normal again.
And the last few weeks, I keep reading about God restoring marriages. Yesterday, I read about asking God "Is it going to be today?" and today, I read somehting that said "Don't quit" and that God's delay might just be a "Not yet"....
I did forward a cute email to my H on Mon and added I hoped his feeling better again. He didn't respond so I again don'tknow what it means.
I awoke to this wonderful prayer in my e/m today. I think it will benefit many.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. I trust that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. Give me Your strength and peace today and fill me with Your faith to overcome. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Thank you so much for the inspirational words and the prayer. This has come at a very appropriate time for me. I so need to be assured of God's faithfulness and His plan for our good.
PH, I think that reading about some OT figures shows that He does, even if it may not happen when we expect it to. Esther, Jacob, Abraham, Sarah, and numerous others. I see daily blessings that are easy to overlook if I don't stop and pause for a moment to realize that He is talking to me.

MMF, Thanks for sharing. I have really been enjoying reading Isaiah for my quiet time. I ave found quite a few promises in that book so far, and I am up to chapter 34 today. It's so true that it's easy to take daily blessings for granted.
Lately, I have been dreaming so much. Sometimes the dreams are absurd and not what I would want to happen. I think I have been dreaming every night for more than a week but just don't necessarily remember them.
I think I am feeling restless with the holidays (and winter) coming up.
I just got reminded of today's Charlyne Cares article about reaching out for the Lord's righteous right hand. I love the devotionals and actually look forward to them each day now. For a while, I had to push myself to read them. Now I really enjoy reading what God might be teaching me or telling me through those messages.
