I learned this morning that she ditched her IC appt. yesterday. So is this the beginning of the end of C for her? The experts say that some bail out of therapy when it starts getting too personal and the patient can't handle the truth of their inner demons. IC is probably starting to disagree with her lifestyle choices. But of course, it's all just supposition on my part.
Don't really care. Pushing on with my life for me and the kids.
That's a shame! I think for our Rs or Ms to ever work our WAS have to get IC prob. long-term for most of them!!! Not your problem. I think so too about giving up when they disagree. My H is the same. He goes in and has told me he lies to the Cs and tries to make himself look good. I think either the therapist kind of go along with their made-up stuff or if/when they realize and disagree in some way, then they're out the door. I'm thinking with an attitude like that they must not really want help or change, or they wouldn't be like that. And nothing you can do about that. Yeah, best to focus on you and your kids. It can drive you crazy to focus on the WAS!!!! (I know from personal experience of course!!!) Karen
