OK, WHY DO I LET MYSELF DO THIS???????????????????????

W calls from holidays. Talks to K's. I expect no word from her so I start to head to another room. S13 calls and asks if I am able to talk to mom. What can I do?

W: Hi. Do you know where the mail key is and which mailbox is ours?

Me: The key should be hanging there. I think it has the box # on it. I cannot remember.

W: OK. Is there anything I should go pay? Should I hook up the TV and internet?

Me: I did the tv from here.

W: When? Thanks for telling me.

Me: I did it when the friends were down (she said they could use the condo but she didn't mention to me - I found out from them directly)

W: What? oh, ok. Should we get the hockey package since you and S13 are coming and me and D16 will be here.

Me: You can check it out at Cox Communication...

W: I asked if you could do it. I have never done that. Geez.

Me: I can look at when I go online to pay the bill. Gotta run. See ya.

She then texts me asking why internet not working. Like I am supposed to know from here. I say it should be. She then says no lights on modem. My temptation was to say "You think the big cord should be plugged into the wall then?" but I didn't. I was polite but sort of said the same. Have heard nothing which means it must be working...

If K's weren't in the room, I would not have taken the call... oh well.
