I do think I'll enjoy this part of things as I know I'm going to date a bit before I find someone to be serious with. I just don't want to jump into something serious, so I'll keep it light and see how things go.

Ali, I actually think you ladies have it much, much easier when it comes to dating than we do. You can sit back and reject everything thrown at you and you aren't expected to be the one who pursues the date in the first place. That's the scary part for us and honestly, I'm not too fond of "picking people up" for dates anymore.
Oh, well. It is my reality, so I've got to live in it.
On the XW front, what the crazy giveth, they also taketh away. She sent a text today telling me today was a "no go" and to "have a good conference." Whatever. It would have been great to see and take D out to dinner, but it is what it is, so I'm ok w/ it as it is her time.
So, I'll see D's teacher this afternoon, then go home and prep up some meals for lunch and dinner before watching Game 1 of the World Series and trying to get some real rest tonight.
