We have tornados in Michigan too. A year ago last August one came thru, missed our house but blew 2 doors off the barn. We were very lucky. Less than a mile away 6 homes were destroyed.
We have a basement and I try to keep my eyes open when we have bad weather.
I have always been afraid of tornados and car accidents. Those were the things that gave me bad dreams when I was a kid.
Most of us are about as happy as we make up our minds to be.
