OH yeah! I am getting very hungry. My Grandpa always used to get deer jerky made and I loved it! It was so good. I also like a good venison chili. I am definately a meat and potatoes girl!

Sounds like it was a nice evening and morning! Hopefully you can string together some great times together. Hope you get to test drive the truck too!

Yes it has started to rain here, and is coming down in buckets!

I am so jealous of the weather and you all seem to live out in the open like I have wanted to go back to. H and I were planning that in 2005 before all of this started. I wanted land where I could have horses. He wanted a really nice house that we both loved. We were gonna build it. H had taken a new job that would have moved us into the country. We had it all picked out except the exact location. I had even started packing up some of the junk. Wow, ok now i'm crying sorry.

I have added "good times together" as another thing that I am now counting.

So now the lists I have going are:
1. Don't call him
2. Don't mention EA
3. String good times together

Pretty simple DB techniques, and things that I have been striving to do, but usually fell down in when H would pick a fight or push me.

Now I know that I have to be stronger than that and let it go. No matter what.

I formally and officially invite you all to come and harvest deer from my area. H does his best to control the population with his bow and his gun but the deer are still winning and take my fences down.

1hope, so glad your H followed thru on his plans and you had a great meal and a sorta nice evening.

Truck shopping sounds fun, it's a buyers market for big vehicles. The incentives are crazy!

You know what comes next right? Big withdrawal of normal H.
Be ready, stay steady. Don't let him push you off the DB wagon.

I don't mind venison but I'm not too good at cooking it. Got any easy recipes? my mom said she cooked chops in creamy mushroom soup and onions. The deer around here graze on grass and corn, but the elk that H gets from the west is really soft and tender.

WCW-thanks for the reminder. I knew to expect that in my head after Monday, but it still hurts my heart. Nice to know I'm not the only one.

Hope-yes remember the words. Hopefully you can deal with it better than me.

((((Kelaaron)))) Don't cry sweetie. This MLC stuff catches us all unaware. I'm sure we have all put lives on hold. After the Holidays, about Januray & February, I will be jealous of YOUR weather \:\)

You know, my H and I bought this house and land, and the whole plan was to make the house livable for 3 or 4 years and then move over and build back on the hills. We even have the plans drawn and had talked to the guy that we wanted to build it for us. Then I was diagnosed with cancer, and shortly after I began treatment for that the EA stuck her nose in and is advising me that H doesn not want the same things in life that I do and that he is perfectly content with the small home that we have and doesn't really want the same things in life that I do.

Oh???? Pardon me! B!tch! To have a conversation like that with a man is one thing, but to tell the (sick) wife about it is something else entirely. She has no idea what our hopes and dreams were. She was not there as we looked thru log home books and sketched out floor plans. She wasn't even there with the other friends that shared our many thoughts and ideas. All she knows is what she and my H shared during the EA.

So, right now I am focused and hanging on to my M with as much dedication as I can muster. I still have the file with plans and sketches, but I have had to focus on something else first.

Who knows what might happen a few years from now. If we survive H's MLC we might decided to build the house some day. I guess I am just glad that we weren't already in the middle of it when the MLC hit. I want it to be a home of love, and no reminder of this struggle.

Thanks for the reminders ladies. I'm kind of thinking that tonight will be good still, because the contractor is finally getting the concrete done, and then the truck test drive.

The withdrawal will probably be Thursday or Friday night. So I have kind of made a plan. One of my GF's is in a musical that I want to go see Thursday night. H won't want any part of that so I will go alone and probably tell him tonight (if the timing is right). I have Friday off, so will stay home and get some things done around the house. I don't want to do the bar thing again, even if he does. Maybe he will bring me home dinner?

I grew up having a mile section plus that my Grandparents and Parents owned, of farm ground and woods. When I moved in with H we lived in a mobile home trailer park that wasn't the nicest! We lived there for 8 years. For a wide open spaces girl who closest neighbor was 1 mile away it was a huge shock to have people who were 15 feet from me. I was so glad when we got to move back out to the country.

H has made the comment that he doesn't want to move back to a trailer park. That has got me wondering if OW didn't rent a trailer in a park somewhere, and that is why he won't move in with her.

It is amazing how the OW seems to feel entitled to tell you what you should be thinking and how it should be. I feel that is the way it works weather they are talking to you or not. They are putting their plans with your H in the way of the dreams you have created.
