I bet we would have a blast!

At least you can see your H looking at you. Mine is so inwardly focused that it's like I am almost invisible. He is very concerned with his looks lately, alawys asking me if he is handsome, goodlooking etc. Also worried that his hair is falling out. Wow.

I almost forgot. On Friday night, late, one of the builders that H has always done work for came into the bar. He builds large houses. At just about the end of the night he slipped up to me and quitely asked me if H was going thru MLC. I was so stunned. I responded, "classic." He said, well hang in there. He will come back. I did, and he will too. You could have knocked me off my chair. This man is not a close friend, but he obviously has been observing the situation with H, it really made me feel good that he chose to speat to me about it like he did.

For every nasty OW there are 3 really good people out there. \:\)

You all get help with the lawn??? \:o Lucky ladies!! ;\) I suppose you didn't have to lay out the cash for your mowers either? or make all the decisions on what to buy and how to haul it home? or change the oil and maintain it? I've been doing it all wrong because when H vacates and won't help me with things I just find a way to 'git-r-dun'. Vent over.

I know you know this but remember that you can't count on these guys to be the H's we fell in love with and married. We all change, they've just changed in a BIG way. That doesn't mean they don't notice all those wonderful things about how you look, they just won't comment to you. My H will be the first to make a comment to other ladies about a new hairdo or how nice they look or if they have lost weight or some other positive comment. It's a dagger to the esteem every time I hear him tell someone else nice things but nary a word to me. OTH, I stopped looking to H for confirmation of my life. He can't provide that for me while he is convincing himself that I am a bad person.

WCW,
Sorry about your lawn sitch. In our R my H is the operator/driver and I am the "laborer". Lol! I assist. But he gets to do the fun stuff like drive... I keep the records and numbers for oil, filter and belts etc and hand him tools when he is wrenching. I get to rake it if he has waited too long between mowings, and I always get to pick up sticks and the dog poop so that he won't run them over.

If H vacated and left and didn't help me with things, I'd find someone to "help" me 'git-r-dun'.

I learned early by watching a gf who does everything around their house. He never mows or showels snow or paints or anything. The more that she does, the more he lets her do. I guess once you've started it's hard to go back.

With my H., there are some things that he needs to feel in charge of.

Yes that is definately true. My H hates it when I mow the lawn. And he is noticing that there are a lot of things around here that just haven't gotten done the way they used to. If he leaves, I know how to do the stuff and I will do it but I don't want to even think like that.

I think in some ways the traveling job sounds good. It sounds like H needs a change. I also like that someone else has noticed MLC. It makes us know we aren't going crazy. The more I tell a friend of mine who watched her father go through one, the more she says yes that is what it is, not just you overanalyzing. Plus I have had confirmation from 3 other sources. So that makes me feel a little better in some small way.

Ok my Buccaneers won the other night. I was actually watching the Sox/Rays final game and fell asleep. Although I'm a born and bread Sox fan, I live in Tampa area so couldn't really be too disappointed that the Rays are going to the World Series. Also a huge NASCAR fan. Carl Edwards is my favorite driver. We went to the Pepsi 400 last summer and it was fantastic. Amazing that we all found each other.

I don't mind mowing, like I said as long as I can tan while I am doing it. I do a good job with the mowing, but I just haven't had the time and H isn't even attempting it. If I am not home he has no desire to be around there by himself. I know he thinks too much when he is alone. With OW he can forget what he is doing and wanting to leave behind!

WOW Hope, that would have been such a validation for you when the guy said he thought he was going through a MLC, especially since he has gone through it too!!

I was thinking that about the traveling job too that it might be good, like trying to get my H to go back to the union and work on a location somewhere.

I know I don't need H or any man to tell me I am attractive, but it is hard to deal with. But we all just keep plucking along!!

Yes BG, thought that was you. It is crazy, isn't it? \:\)

I'm doing ok. You're making me smile now, so that's better than a few minutes ago. I can oly check the other world from home, so I'll do that later.

K, I LOVE the Bucs. Ok, I have to admit here, that it's your coach that I enjoy watching. I have always loved John Gruden. Then, I'm partial to blondes.
