Do what you want to do......don't think of it as a "head game" for her. If you want to call and wish her a safe trip, you should. Choosing to love her even when she isn't showing love to you, is commendable. You know she won't appreciate a call/text right now...but, does that matter? You get to decide whether you choose to love.
