I'll just finish off from my last thread, Arthur, Yes I probably need to GAL more but monies really tight at the moment and buying myself a pint is difficult so partying into the early hours is out of the question. I need to sit down and think of some "me" activities that don't cost money and strike a better balance between family activities and my activities. But a big part of piecing is finding things which bring the spouses and the together and focus on them, so I can't forget about that.
Yeasterday W phoned me, FIL got the test results from tissues removed from his lung operation. Seven small tumours found, some cancerous, effectively, cancer cells from his bowel cancer 6 years ago have now retuned, this time on his lung. W was quite upset when she was talking to me, for some reason FIL had convinced her that they were going to the consultation to receive some kind of all clear but the news wasn't what they were expecting. I spent some time talking to her pointing out the positives of the situation cos the outlook is reasonable under the circumstances. At the end of the talk W thanked me for being so positive and supportive. I just told her that I'm always here to support her. (Kal, you would have been proud of me).

Lan - I didn't mena drinking and partying as such, but going for a bike ride, a run, fishing with some friends, round to a friends house to watch some sport. Doesn't need to cost anything, but is time for Lan that doesn't have to involve W and D.
I understand time together is important in piecing, but some time you is a must.
I'm still at the gym Tuesday & Sunday I have a game of footy afterwork on a Thursday. I could do with to getting my bike out of the garage and getting peddling.
Need to look up a few new friends, cos best mate works in London during the week and weekends is him and his kids. My brother has hooked up with a new woman, and is over in her town full time, but I've got some ideas of who I can drop in on.
Just when I'm looking to go all big man in a big way W is offering a glass of wine, chocolates and an early night, geez and theres loads of footy on the TV tonight.
