Hang in there... have a great weekend with the kids... so glad your DC class left you feeling good... we do have to forgive at some point with or without our spouses back in our lives...

LE you have really put your heart out there and done everything you could for this M and for your Kids... we all have the guilt for our kids, except our WAS.. we can't carry that forever either...

enjoy and I'll hop on over the weekend too - I just can't seem to play catch up as my real job is getting in the way :-)

thinking of you all

LE, FWIW, my W told me early in the marriage that she was molested by her F. Never came out again; she lies so much that I don't know if it's true or not. But in early Aug, she went to the ER after a night out clubbing and claimed to have been raped. She was pretty beat up in the face; but docs said no evidence. To her credit, docs also said sometimes there isn't any evidence. But I have to wonder if someone who has been raped after being in clubs would turn so promiscuous and keep going back to them in less than three weeks of the occurrence.

Interesting thought, DQ. One my mom brought up to me before.

Thanks to everyone for chiming in. My thread here will probably lock, and I think Surviving is my next stop. So look for me over there with Mike and Arthur and Gabbysmom23.

Met W last night to get S and D. She asks if I would take the power cord back to the Dr. office again and says "I will pay you." Made me furious. Now I am a delivery service. We were at a gas station that uses a loyalty card for discount. D runs over to where I am pumping and says "Mommy needs to use your card!" I told D, that Mommy should use her telephone number, because Daddy needed his card. I was being really petty, but I'm not interested in providing anything for W. W then tells me that the kids want to go costume shopping and that she is putting that on me. How is it that I get four days out of twenty-eight with our kids, and she feels that she can dictate what we are going to do in our time together. I plan to let her know that my weekends are my weekends and I don't need her help in planning them out. W then tells me, getting them ready is really a pain, can you buy some underwear for them to keep with you, so that is one less thing I have to pack? Then she tries to give me $30. I just told her,"I don't need the money, I am their father not the baby-sitter. It is my job to provide for them." I added, "You've said some really insulting and hurtful things to me in the last two weeks and I don't appreciate it." She asked what she had said so she could avoid it in the future and I just told her "It doesn't really matter, when I wanted a second chance you didn't give it to me, so I don't feel obligated to say anymore to you." I got in the truck and left. Hopefully the D papers are at my atty this week so I can look them over and figure out the next step. I have my parents of D'd children class the first week in November. Court said it is best to take it together, but I am going alone. W can go to hers by herself.

Kids are great. We took a drive and went on a little day trip. Different town, different park, different restaurants. They are having a blast. Glad to be doing something different. I figure my time with them can be like a vacation. Always something different everytime I see them. When they are here I don't miss W. So it is like my friend at work said, you miss your family, you don't miss your W.

W also looked really frumpy, like all of this is causing her to gain weight. I've been losing weight, but still have a long way to go.

Hope everyone has a great rest of their weekend!

My W just said to me this morning that she found her "freshman 15" referring to the the 15 pounds that you gain in your first year of college. Funny how the WAW gains weight and the LBH loses weight. Maybe there is some poetic justice in there somewhere.

Take care buddy

I think that's pretty astute...good idea on going to different places. Make some new memories, let fresh water flow under the bridge...

have a great evening.

I saw a Halloween costume for a guy last night called "Freshman 15" and it was a frumpy college girl costume. Made me laugh. I think it is poetic justice. Look at Jame38! He weighed 183 and at last report was 130. He is 5' 6" so I would say he is a little stressed! I hope he is eating.
