How you can use him up like this-
And not feel the least bit guilty
And give no love in return.


But continue to take - as though he owes you
Owes you for what ­because you exist?
Because you’ll get nasty if he doesn’t give?
But you give no love in return.

What will you do when your meal ticket’s gone
And you can’t use “the kids” anymore?
You’ll wonder why you’re lonely and sad-
Because you give no love in return!

So threaten and push, be nasty and cold-
It’s better for me if you are that way
Because it brings him to me, time and again
And I give all my love in return
