My mama always told me that if I had nothing nice to say to say nothing at all. I have nothing nice to say about your H right now so I will zip my lip!

Seriously! How do you manage to not wrap your hands around his neck and strangle his rotten hide?

MWG that is best not to let his moods affect you. Sometimes my h would look in the fridge and say there is nothing here my response in a polite way was "I will be getting groceries when I get paid".

He hasn't made those comments for a long time though. I am sure your h was having a bad day or in a mood. Depression will do that to you, so it's best to cut it short and NOT let it affect you.

You know, it took me a long time to learn to blow things off and afterall, he is still paying the bulk of the bills. I have to ignore his mood as I know I really did not have anything to do with it. We all have our bad days.........

Glam: S18 brought some soda home as he was at the store.

H did not have much to say to D16 when he brought her home either but he was nice to her and said he would see her on Saturday.

The kids hadn't seen him in that kind of mood in quite awhile as they commented to me about it.

Have a great day today MWG. Depression can affect you in many different ways. Your h could be lashing out because you just happen to be there and he might NOT even realize it.

My h mentioned to me yesterday to call things out to him and to NOT hold things in because I might be afraid of his reaction. He said that he doesn't even realize what he as said affected me that way.

I was appreciative of h saying this. I will call things out now, but just call them out in a thoughtful way.

Hmmm........I'm thinking there is trouble in paradise.

H never used to come over during the week but now he comes over during the week and on weekends.

As you know lastnight, he was in a horrible mood and when he picked up D16 after church, she wanted to hang out and talk with him and he kept saying, "D, I really have to go." She said he was saying that a few times.

I kind of chuckled because that is so not like him.

He told her he would be here on Saturday.

MWG,
When you have a chance, could you check my thread? I could really use some support right now.

Thanks...
Dawn

I finished another day of work. H called me twice about some banking stuff-no big deal.

My feet are not as bad but they sure begin to get sore in the heel area about an hour before quitting time.

Saturday and Sunday, I work for five hours each day, then again on Monday and Tuesday for four hours each day.

They really like me and know they can rely on me.

I decided that:

I am going to treat this job like a chance to exercise as it is constant movement--I can only imagine how many miles I walk in a 4-5 hour period! I need to take off about 50 pounds and this is a great way to do it.

This also gives H a chance to step up to the plate somewhat.

I talked to him today and he is going to do some errands for me this weekend, go to the grocery store, and since Sunday is D14's birthday and I have to work, he is going to take the kids out.

I let him know that I am very tired, the house is not in tip top shape, and that when I come home, I can barely move to do anything, let alone do cooking and cleaning.

We'll see...................He was receptive and sounded pretty good when I asked if he would help me.

Hey MWG,

I have sore feet too and I know it's due to the fact that I put on weight again. When I had lost all my weight from the MLC diet my feet were fine but as soon as the weight went back on my heels kill me.

It's my daily reminder that I need to lose weight again. I am sure when you take the weight off they will feel better too.

I hope you have a nice weekend!

MWG,

I am also on my feet all day and have invested in all types of shoes, and have spent a small fortune over the years.

A few weeks ago, I happened to be at Target, and on the Clearance rack I saw these really cute black leather clogs that had proper support inside, a skidproof sole and are amazingly comfortable.

I wear then for about 12 hours a day and I love them.

And...they were only $3.48.

And like an idiot I only bought one pair.

But they are made by Cherokee and I am sure they must have something similar, even if they are not on sale they were not expensive.

There can be no testimony without a test.
I am praying to go through this test and come out the other end with a new and better marriage then before.
