Just a place to talk about our activities and what we are doing for ourselves. This is about us not our Spouses.....

Started working out myself.... I feel pretty good about it. I did have a break through today. I started going to the gym here at work, I have been going at 5 am because there is nobody around and I am a little embarrassed. I have made it everyday except Monday. Monday On the way there I noticed that other people were there so I "chickened out"... well Today when I went again there was someone there........ I went anyway.........did my thing and while doing it the other guy finished his routine and then left. (This was an older guy kind of scrawny looking) anyway I went over to the AB crunch that he just left... He had it set at 125 lbs...(I have been doing 70)I sat down and tried to do his weights and it just picked right off the seat.......Guess I will stick to 70 a little longer...
I will list my body weight when I get it to see of any thing changes. The only thing so far is I am losing my man boobs.

Hey Doc,

Isn't it ironic that you are glad to be losing your "man boobs", unfortunately when women lose weight we lose our "woman boobs" too. Women want to keep their boobs. Too bad we can't shift the weight to the places we would like for it to go. I'd shift mine "up"! Where would you shift yours?

I have started to walk more, we have a new dog, well he is 7 months now, and he has been my motivation, he loves to walk, and will go for a while! So I am enjoying that, but with the weather changing its going to be harder!

If I could move my weight it would be to my behind, its flat and I would like a little shape there! Also I would love to have perky one's! you know that stay where they are supposed too!!!

DOc,

Great start!

I would shift my weight to someone that looked like they could use it, I like to share ya know. ;\)

Lucky for me when I loose weight my boos stay in tact and I could afford to loose some.

I have started a weight loss program called card cycling that actually helps you loose and eat what you want just a different way.
Started Monday and have lost 6lbs so far. I know that it will slow down but at least it is fat and not muscle or water.
I am drinking plenty of water and feel good so far.

I asked Doc to be my buddy so that we can each stay motivated and the more the merrier that is why Doc started this thread.

I am doing the eliptical and walking and hunting season is here so that will help me with the excersise too.

Doc: that old guy isn't so scrawny is he? \:\/

What kind of dog do you have? I think you mentioned it before.

Down 9 lbs in a week.

Wish it would be that way every week but the best things take time.

Hunted this weekend saw nothing.
got excersise though walking with all the garb on.

Also watched H's Mom, she is so bad I know that it will not be much longer.

Weekends go by way too fast.

I used to Deer hunt. ( Well the deer here in Calif are more the size of big german shepard dogs).
Becasue of my leg I would sit point at the mouth of the cannon. My uncle would start at the head of the cannon and anything that came out I got..
Uncle lost the property so I have no place to go hunting now..

My MIL has good days and bad. I am the only family member she sees some weeks. Sometimes all she wants is someone to sit there and watch T.V with her. THEN she talks through the whole program telling me what is going to happen becasue she has seen it twenty times.........

But I hope someone will be with me when I need them.

Good work Jak58.........

Doc,

Hows the workout going, is it everyday?

I need to walk more but it is getting very cold here and I guess I need to find a treadmill for the bad days.

I am really trying to stick to the plan and doing well so far.

Hopefully this weekend I will be able to do some GAL stuff
I called into my second job today want some time for me.

JAK
