As for your H... well, I was thinking about you earlier tonight strangely. I dont know how you do it/have done it, that hes been with someone else for so long now. My ex has been with someone 7 ish weeks or more (not sure) and that feels like an awfully long time already. Of coruse, he didnt really contact me in that time until recently, so its not the same.. your H continues to contact you.
But.. did you get this email today? And was he back from holiday Monday? So did he wait several days and then send it and it did seem a bit of an excuse right, but also, its not much of an email, there arent any oersonal details about his life other than, I'm off to the other office in a bit.. great! I think you would be doing the right thing by not answering it.. that would be a bit of a 180 for you.. or maybe it goes back to yonks ago when I was first posting to you (Jan-Mar??) and you werent replying for a few days back then.
It would be interesting to see what he might do if you just didnt reply till after the weekend.. and then when you did, make no reference or apology as to why you havent replied?
Alternatively, this is a bit of a potent 2 week window for communication, starting today.. so maybe make the best of that and respond but be more natural, do a 180 the other way.. say hi, what you been up to? How have you been? - more like a real friend???
