I saw something this morning from DC talking about forgiveness taking time. I think it just sort of happens and you are able to look back and realize that you have let go of all the hurt that the other person caused. I do believe the sooner, the better, but it can be really hard. After all we are human.
Be strong Bg, I know you had a rough day and night. Today is going to be better and everyday from here on out will be better than the one before.

Had to e-mail W to get a password reset on paying a credit card. She e-mails me back to ask invite me to come down for Homecoming parade and to have dinner with her and the kids. I didn't respond. I have DivorceCare and other plans anyway, so I really couldn't make it. I just find it frustrating that she does this sort of crap.

LE...they know. Somehow they know when we are pulling away. Do you think they have their own support network...WAS's Unite? That's where they learn the script and just how long to wait between contacts and between invites and just what to say to make sure we don't actually move on too far!

Well, I actually did respond. Just said, "Thanks, I have my usual Thursday night activities. Kids don't need to call me, I'll just see them tomorrow." Left it at that. Nice and detached. I don't want her throwing it back in my face that I don't ever respond when it is something about the kids.
