((((guys)))) Thankyou for missing me! I have a couple of minutes before I have to get back to work so thought I'd say hello. Only three things to note.
1. I got my notice of redundancy today- 3 months. So I need to start looking for a new job
2. CEO told me today that his Mum was asking him when my divorce was going to come through. ??!!!
3. H sent me an e-mail yesterday. here it is, in all it's glory. I haven't replied and don't expect I will until next week- too busy (although I could have done it instead of posting to you lovely people!)
Hi [pet name- this is not a new development- he's always used it in e-mails],
I hope things are good with you and that you're having a fun day in the office. I just though I'd pass on this job advert in case you knew anyone who might be interested (name, name??). For some reason it is not even on the website so I'm not quite sure how they expect to get any applicants!! I tell you sometimes I think I'm working with a load of dimwits!
I'm off for a little jaunt to [other office] in a bit- I have all the fun!
Love Me xx
Any thoughts on numbers 2 and 3 much appreciated. And any offers of employment also welcomed!
Sorry I've been so lax on visiting you guys. I'll catch up this weekend. CEO and I are working on a plaan to try and get some more cash into the company, so keep your fingers crossed. I could really do with a bit of luck!!
Lisa sorry about job, glad you managed an update. No comment on 3, other than more of same---yawn. (does he know about yr job difficulties) No 2 is a HUGE plus. Talking to your mum means it's a serious thought in his mind----have you met her?
Good luck with the plan. (((()))) ps Takes a dimwit to know one, for an intelligent man he sure is incredibly stupid. I know I wasn't going to comment
I agree with naej. Even if his mum is not really asking, he is. Just to make sure what the timeline is so that he knows where he stands after you two quit working together... The man wants to make an honest woman out of you, LOL!! (I am coming to the wedding).
Good luck with the money, it's gonna be difficult these days... Love K
1. Sorry to hear abou the job. At least you have three months, that's a good thing.
2. CEO is clearly interested. He is a smart man, after all. I'm afraid I may need more than three months. I guess Kalni is right. Limbo is bad!
3. You know, I feel two different ways about this. First, it's seems great that he maintains this kind of contact with you. It keeps communication open, and shows that he still considers you a valuable friend. On the other hand, how can he even pretend to be your friend, considering what he is doing? That drives me crazy! It's got to be so tempting to just let him have it, at times!
