You made an effort. You tried to address an issue with your wife. It didn't work. Chances are it will never work until she is gone and begins to experience life on her own.
So take care of Fido.
Once again the load falls to you. I know it gets heavy, but this is what we do when we choose to be men of character. You know as well as I do that as fathers we would move mountains for our children. Well that's where you're at my friend.
Be their hero.
Sometimes you have to take a stand. Continue to hold fast to what you believe is right, but refuse to allow it to become an argument. Hanging up was right. Walking away is also right. Say your peace, IN PEACE, and walk away if it is not received in peace.
And hug your son and daughter.
