Hi Nit sorry you had no aknowledgement of the day, but you have to remember that whilst you are standing this man is now your X husband and he has a new wife and a new anniversary so his thinking of dates etc will not be what yours are. Really what could he say if he had sent a card? even if he no longer thinks of you as his wife he would probably know that you would be feeling down on that day and he felt doing nothing was the best option. Not sure how many 2nd wives would want their husbands sending anniversary cards to first wife. They are quite a few of them on these boards. It might help if you view him as an x even if you are still hoping for him to return. After all it won't be anytime soon as he would have to break up and divorce wife no.2. That takes time. Did you hear back or call your xmil? Maybe she just wanted to reconnect or just a complete coincidence she picked that date. Keep galing and trying to enjoy the life you have now.
